Services We Offer

Alternative Medicine

Knowing that you have options when it comes to your pet can make all the difference. Acupuncture, Aqua puncture and Laser Therapy are all available for your pet. These methods can be used alone or in addition to traditional means for arthritis or acute pain. Laser Therapy has also sped recovery following an injury or surgical procedure.

Non traditional pets are becoming more popular. We staff a veterinarian that is qualified to examine, treat and even perform surgery on your rabbit, hamster, reptile, or bird. We can also provide you with accurate information on how to care for your pet. Information on husbandry and diet can be vital in caring for your exotic pet.

When you can't take your pet out of town with you, let us take care of them. Our boarding service has its own separate entrance apart from the veterinary clinic. This will ease the process of dropping off and picking up your pet. We offer weekend times to pick up and drop off to accommodate your schedule. We want to make your pet's stay with us as comfortable as possible. You are welcome to bring bedding, toys, etc from home.

Dental Cleaning

Regular dental care is essential to your pet's health and well being. Our veterinarians will determine if your pet's mouth needs professional attention during a routine physical exam. Dental cleanings are performed under general anesthesia in order to allow for a thorough oral examination, cleaning with an ultrasonic scaler and polishing.

Diet and Nutrition

Our staff can assist you with questions on how to feed your pet for optimal health. Choosing an appropriate diet for your pet is the foundation for health. We stock Science Diet brand pet foods but also carry Prescription and Purina Veterinary diets as well. Ask us to help you determine what food will give your pet the benefits you are looking for.

Fully Stocked Pharmacy

We stock the medications your pet may need. If you have a pet that just won't take a pill, we can help you there too. We have the means to compound pills into liquids and flavor them with a variety of tempting flavors. Do you need something we don't carry? We work with an off site pharmacy to get those hard to find specialty medications as well.

In House Laboratory

Lab work provides so much information about your pet's health. Whether your pet is sick, having surgery or needs to have therapeutic drug levels monitored. We can do that immediately with out having to wait on results from an outside lab. Yearly heartworm screens and senior pet blood profiles, urinalysis and fecal testing are just part of the testing we can offer you.

We also work with an outside lab to provide cytology and histopathology for your pet.

We can't say enough about how important permanent identification is. Microchips are always with your pet(even when a collar is not). We carry the HomeAgain microchips and take care of the registration and 1st year of enrollment for you.

Keep your pets legal and keep them up to date. Indiana law requires that all pets over the age of 12 weeks be vaccinated against Rabies. We offer both 1 year and 3 year Rabies vaccines.
In addition to Rabies, there are other "core" vaccines that we feel all healthy dogs should have. Distemper and Parvo vaccines are also offered every 3 years. Lyme disease and Leptospirosis are 2 other diseases that we try to make our clients aware of, that are in our area. There are vaccines available for these diseases.
If your dog is social and goes to social places like the groomer, daycare etc. We would encourage you to consider vaccinating against Kennel Cough and Canine Flu.
Cats should be vaccinated with an upper respiratory complex as their "core" vaccines. If your cat is exposed to the outdoors we would encourage you to consider vaccinating against feline leukemia virus.

Routine or Emergency surgery. When it's your pet, you want to be certain they are in the best hands available. We utilize a laser in surgery. Laser surgery is more efficient, causes less bleeding and swelling.
Our Veterinarians work with a wide area of skill levels in surgery, from routine spays and neuters to complicated orthopedics.

We now have Digital X-ray!! This allows us to have a visual image of your pet in seconds! State of the art technology will help our Doctors asses your pet and give you the peace of mind knowing they are receiving the best, most accurate care for your pets.
